Node Management
Escape Infura and all the other centralized corporate nodes that steal your data and threaten your privacy. Use the most decentralized, private and censorship resistant network of nodes via the Pokt and Hopr gateways. Automatically route your tx's randomly into a selection of 1000's of private nodes, so no single node ever gets the full picture of your activity. Regain your privacy from the centralized corporations and their data stealing nodes.
BEETroot encourages you to either run your own nodes if you can, or use the RPC settings listed below, this will trustlessly route your tx's into a decentralized network of 1000's of nodes from the RPC gateways. BEETroot is helping decentralization in these networks by running Ethereum, Pokt and Hopr nodes.
We will be changing some of the Pokt RPC URL Gateways in the list over to Hopr when they become available, as Hopr RPC's will also split each individual tx into hop packets across the network of decentralized nodes for further privacy. We'll always announce any updates in our Telegram and Twitter when they become available to continually improve the privacy of the RPC's listed in here.
To custom add networks to your Metamask wallet, please see the instructions under the list of network settings.

Instructions
Use a good VPN as well as using the above RPC settings, it's important to make sure you are connected to it before opening your browser and wallet, this is important, do not miss this step. See below if you don't have a VPN yet and need to set it up.
We recommend Metamask for your crypto wallet, as it's compatible with all dapps and you can custom add any EVM chain manually with custom RPC URL's. Even better if you use Metamask with your Ledger or Trezor bridged in and connected to it.
By default ETH is locked to Infura's node on Metamask, so we need to add a new Network. Open your metamask extension, click on the big Networks button at the top in the centre, the Networks menu will then open up, click the "Add Network" button at the bottom. On the next page click "Add network manually" then copy and paste the above settings into each appropriate field.
To add the other chains new RPC settings, you follow the same process, only they are not locked so you can delete the existing RPC settings you have for those chains, then just add the chains as per the above settings.
Note: With Ethereum, Metamask will warn Chain Id: 1 is already in use, and may grey the save button out after you have filled the details in to make it difficult to move off Infura when you are adding other nodes to chain 1 outside their centralized realm. You can't resolve this issue if your not connected via your VPN. As long as you are connected via your VPN, the way around this is to close and reopen Metamask, fill it in again one or two times. It's awkward having to do this, however this is the work around to make the Save button activate.

Always use a good VPN so Metamask itself can't track your IP even before the tx's hit the nodes. Make sure you are connected to your VPN before you login to your Metamask wallet. If you don't have a good VPN service yet, we recommend NordVPN. Not only is it competitive but it's one of the fastest with the highest level of privacy options. For example, they are one of only a few services that offer Tor access, split tunneling, and multi-hop connections.
